Why We Like This Place


Reasons Loft on Lake made our list of favorite Chicago wedding venues:
1.  Natural light, day or night: A 65-foot skylight allows the sunlight to filter in during the day, and treats guests to a sparkling skyful of stars in the evening.

2. Commitment to the environment: The owners’ passion for energy conservation and sustainability is reflected throughout the venue, and Loft on Lake will also recycle everything from your wedding: food, flowers, balloons, etc. Rooftop solar panels are coming soon.

3. There’s a great photographer on site: One of the owners, Steve Garrett, is a professional artistic photographer with 25 years in the industry under his belt. He’d be happy to photograph your wedding at the Loft…and he’s added a photo booth! Book the venue along with his services to receive a discount. 

4. The work of local Chicago artists can be part of your wedding: Couples may decorate their event with artworks from the Loft’s network of Chicago Artists. They can also bring in their own décor.

Fees & Deposits

50% of the total cost is due at the time of reservation. A $500 deposit and full balance is due 5 days before the event.
