Why We Like This Place

If you’re a nature lover, a romantic or both, the Illinois Beach Resort and Conference Center may be your perfect wedding venue. It’s set along the shore of Lake Michigan on 4,100 acres of a protected state park—far from the hustle and bustle of city life but only 40 minutes from Chicago and Milwaukee. There are several ballrooms to choose from, and you can also have an outdoor experience: Get married next to the beach or host your reception under a large white tent on the lawn. On-site wedding professionals will ensure that every detail of your wedding is as beautiful as the stunning backdrop itself. Your out-of-town guests will love their rooms, too, which offer either a breathtaking view of the sunrise over Lake Michigan or the setting sun over the woodlands.
