Why We Like This Place
Daniel F. Rice and his wife Ada built this country home in Wheaton, IL back in 1939. It later was the home farm of the Lucky Debonaire, the winner of the 1965 Kentucky Derby, and his jockey William Shoemaker. One could imagine that any event on this historic landmark’s 780 acres will have a touch of good luck from its previous tenants!
