Why We Like This Place

• If these walls could talk…or better yet, sing, the tales they’d tell. Originally built in 1917, this great historic building was a speakeasy in the 20s, and later the popular Chez Paree where the likes of Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Louis Armstrong performed.

• For those who like to be in the loop, Chez puts you very close to ‘the Loop’ Located two blocks from Michigan Avenue and Chi-town’s lakefront, the venue puts you and your guests within a half mile of nearly 60 hotels, so out-of-towners will have a convenient home base for sightseeing.

• Their clean-lined, versatile loft space can be transformed to your own design. With statuesque columns, 17-foot ceilings and a glass staircase leading to a mezzanine, you’ve got all the elements of a hip, modern aesthetic just waiting for your special touch.
