Services

Soirée Weddings & Events is a boutique event planning firm specializing in elegant downtown Chicago weddings. A self-proclaimed “hopeless romantic,” owner Tiffany Munster admits she’s a sucker for all things wedding-related. She’s young, fun, and stylish, and besides being an incredibly organized wedding planner, she’ll also act as your event designer by bringing your wedding vision to a creatively crafted reality! She prides herself on being able to work with any budget and still make your event look like a million bucks.

But apart from the efficient timelines and exquisite design details she’ll create, Tiffany is also known for her stellar vendor referrals. Your vendor team will be very carefully selected to not only match your wish list, but also be a perfect fit with each other. This ensures that Soirée and their team will take care of every detail, resulting in a smooth, seamless and beautiful event that you’ll be able to truly take in and enjoy.

Soirée offers all-inclusive packages as well as a la carte services. Contact Tiffany to discuss your vision and budget and she will create a custom package just for you.

What 3 words best describe your work? Unique, inspired and stylish.

Tell us about your company name. Soirée: noun (swä-ra): a party or reception held in the evening. It ultimately translates to "an event under the stars." Hence, the star logo.

Why should someone hire you? Anyone can create a perfectly exquisite wedding with an unlimited budget—but we pride ourselves on taking our clients' realistic budgets and creating weddings that look like a million bucks!

What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work? My clients are the biggest inspiration!! As I learn more about them, I like to incorporate elements of their heritage, their love story, their families, etc.

What makes a wedding memorable for you? I love heartfelt moments and family traditions that are incorporated into weddings. It is memorable for the guests and meaningful to generations of family members—past, present and future.

What are 3 words that describe your personality? Funny. Ambitious. Sincere.

What's your favorite book/movie/work of art? Wuthering Heights is my all time favorite book. I love the movie Sixteen Candles, and I love most impressionist artists—Monet, Van Gogh, Seurat, Renoir, Matisse and Picasso.

What's your favorite quote? "Nothing great is ever achieved without enthusiasm" —Ralph Waldo Emerson
I also like, "All you need is love." —John Lennon

What's your favorite marriage advice? Him: Wake her up with fresh coffee, a kiss and a foot rub every morning.
Her: Tell him every day how handsome he is.

Extracurricular activities: Yoga, running, biking, traveling, swimming, spin class, online shopping, going to the beach, gardening (tending my flower boxes and herb pots on my city balcony!), cooking, walking my dog and going to the farmer's market.

If you weren't in your current profession, what would you do instead? I would own a Villa Bed & Breakfast in Italy or Greece. Or I would love to be a fashion photographer!

What's your favorite way to wind down after a hard day? A nice glass of Pinot Noir or Tempranillo.

Tell us about your pets, if you have any. I have a quirky cat named Coco and an adorably loving Bernese Mountain Dog named Bowie. I love these girls so much! They are a constant source of entertainment and joy! My favorite day is going to the farmer's market with Bowie and my hubby, and then cuddling up on the bed (or couch) with Coco, Bowie and the hubs to watch a movie!

What are some of your favorite places to eat—either everyday spots or special occasion splurges? I love Italian food, French food, Vietnamese food and vegetarian cuisine. Chicago has so many great restaurants to choose from! I try not to frequent many of the same places; but instead, try new spots. There are always new fabulous places opening up here!
