All Wedding packages include:

A la carte items are also available, including an engagement session with a DVD of high-resolution images, custom designed albums, proofs in a custom photo box, and canvas wrapped prints. Combined DJ and photography packages are offered at a discounted rate for both services.

Questions and Answers

What 3 words best describe your work? Photojournalistic, creative, professional.

What drew you to this field/how did you get started? When Shelley Anderson and Tyler Huffman, co-owners of Cage and Aquarium, fell in love and tied the knot, combining their professional specialties into one became the next natural step in their lives together. With her deep-rooted love for photography, Shelley began photographing weddings in 2004. As a lifelong musician of many instruments, Tyler expanded his appreciation of music and became a deejay in 2007. As the two grew in their separate fields, it all suddenly made sense to fuse them together. The couple combined their creative forces to create a premier Chicago event company.

What have weddings taught you? That we love to photograph them! Being a wedding photographer isn’t for everyone, but I feel like I definitely found my niche. Since photographing more than 200 weddings—and attending my own—I still absolutely love the wedding day and everything that comes with it. I enjoy meeting couples during the planning process because there are so many fun things about to happen in their lives. The wedding is one of the most significant of these occasions, and I am honored when asked to photograph this special moment.
