Services
Peer Johnson typifies what it means to be a professional photographer. He began winning fine-art photography awards as early as high school. Art schools in SF, Chicago and LA took notice and soon he was enrolled in the Commercial Photography program at LA’s Santa Monica College. After graduation, he began assisting the best-of-the-best in LA’s Commercial & Fashion Photography industry. Years of rigging lights, cameras and working on-location for global advertising campaigns provided him with real-world experience in what it takes to create great images anywhere. He has photographed commercial assignments for demanding clients in LA, New York, Atlanta and Miami and spent 2 years working for fashion photography genius James Russell. His expertise lies in creating beautiful, natural shots of the bride and groom.
Today he uses this knowledge to bring his clients the best possible photo experience he can. Clients often comment on his preparedness, professionalism, and his ability to have fun and appreciate the moment. Recent clients have said of Peer, “Professional, yet down to earth, very easy to get along with…he made everything so easy. Our pictures are incredible…they totally exceeded our expectations (which are quite high). ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!”
Packages start at $1950. All 2012 packages include:

About This Company
Peer approaches every wedding with the mindset that he learned while working for celebrity wedding planner, Mindy Weiss. While moonlighting in the L.A. Photo Industry, Peer acted as Mindy’s on-site assistant for elaborate Hollywood parties and weddings at The 4 Seasons, Spago, and private estates in Malibu, Beverly Hills and Hollywood. Working in these environments taught Peer that every wedding is unique—and is whatever the bride and groom want it to be!
He’s been happily married for over 10 years to his uber-talented wife, Rhonda Johnson. Rhonda is one of the most in-demand bridal hair and makeup artists on the Central Coast. Her professional background mirrors Peers’ in the commercial and print advertising industries in LA. Nearly 7 years ago they fulfilled their dream of moving to California’s Central Coast where they continue to live full time.
