Wedding Jewelry: Your Something Borrowed

Nowadays, it seems you can rent just about anything: DVDs, couture handbags, houses, furniture, tuxedos, and even jewelry for your wedding. Some might think it’s tacky to walk down the aisle in jewels that you could never afford, but others say it’s just another option available to help you look your best. Hollywood stars walk the red carpet in rented jewelry all the time.
Personally, I’m afraid that if it were jewelry as lovely as the offerings from our jewelry partners, I’d have trouble giving it back! It’d be like losing a beautiful keepsake from my wedding.
If you’re interested in decking yourself out in borrowed bling, eHow has a helpful step-by-step guide.

Hi. On my wedding day, my “something borrowed” was an old diamond ring from my mom that my grandmother gave her. It complimented my wedding dress. It can glam up even a simple dress that’s why I love it.
On my wedding, I wore my family inherited diamond ring. It has been passed through centuries of my family’s generations. This ring is older than 500 years but still has that vintage sparkle and with some polish, will get back to brand new. I love that ring.
