One of the best parts of my job is managing all the reference checks for the wedding professionals who want to be Certified By The Guide. I’ll admit it’s fun putting them through their paces, talking to countless industry folks and tons of brides for each company. Some don’t make the cut, but those who do are absolutely fantastic!
After hearing all the raves about these new wedding vendors, I’m so excited to share them with you. Here are our latest and greatest for the month of July:

Northern California
· Satura Cakes offers a cool mixture of French and Japanese flavors and presentation.
· Once you’ve seen the wares at Wedding Paper Divas, you’ll wonder why paper goods were never this posh before.
· With Nelle Johnston of Zahzoom Weddings & Parties, you’ll get an environmentally conscious wedding coordinator who’s there to work within your budget.
· The Flower House will guide you to floral design that fully reflects your personal style.
· Andrew Weeks of Weeks Photography will make sure you are utterly absorbed in the moments of the day, not the documentation of them.
· Robyn and Randy of Cazinha Portrait Design catch beautiful detail and fashion shots, plus they chronicle spontaneous, candid moments with a story-oriented, cinematic style.
· Julie Mikos’ experience, combined with her evident love of storytelling, adds up to wedding photography with a particularly appealing slant.
· When we asked about Shanti of Shanti DuPrez Photography, we consistently heard about her calm and gentle manner, her unshakable professionalism and the beauty of her photos.
· Susan of Susan Adler Photography is really an artist who loves what she does and that shows in the end result.
· Toki of Toki Cavener Photography finds her inspiration in fashion and interior design photography.
· Instead of being enclosed like traditional photo booths, Fotomio is best described as a “photo booth without walls.”
· As high-definition video specialists, Video Madness uses only premium HD cameras and powerful editing workstations.
· The team at Lumitone treats all of their films as cinematic works.
Central California
· Passion for presentation is clearly evident in the fresh floral combinations of color and texture from Panacea Event Floral Design.
· At Arranged by Patrice, Patrice’s mission is to help couples sidestep the stress and arrive at the joy.
· Taffy at All Traditions offers a range of planning and coordination options—whether you need someone to handle all of the planning details from the start or just need a coordinator to work on your wedding day.
Southern California
· So much love goes into a wedding cake by A Sweet Design that you can see owner Joeleen’s passion in each of her creations.
· Russ Messick at Soundworks Disc Jockey has worked exclusively as a wedding DJ since 1990. How does that benefit you? His style is geared entirely to weddings!
