Music to Set the Mood

My colleague Jolene has a husband whose singing voice is often compared to Michael Buble’s, but I try (hard) not to be jealous. I tell myself that with the advent of iTunes, I can instantly have Michael and my own husband to keep me warm. If your fiancé can only muster a few off-key karaoke tunes, you might want to invest in some music downloads to get you through the winter. And if you’re looking for wedding music inspiration, Michael Buble’s updated covers of standards like “Wonderful Tonight”icon and “The Best is Yet to Come”icon are guaranteed crowd-pleasers, and also get high marks for a first turn around the dance floor.

Buble’s not the only one who’s scoring big with classic revivals. Heidi Klum’s hubby, Seal, ups the sizzle factor with a whole CD full of soulful renditions. When we first heard the steamy track “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long,”icon we knew it would instantly take the wedding circuit by storm. And if the song alone isn’t enough to make you swoon, watch the vid:

Yes, Heidi really does seem to have it all:
a talented husband, Project Runway fame, a successful jewelry line, a Victoria’s Secret-ready body that won’t quit—even after 3 kids. But instead of being consumed by envy, tonight I’m snuggling up next to my man with a cup of hot chocolate and a handful of romantic tunes to set the mood.

FREE STUFF: The first 15 readers who send me an email will get a free copy of Seal’s new CD “Soul.” Just put “Seal Soul” in the subject line, and you could be on your way to a cool winter treat.

hey i really liked your witty and comical writing style.besides that i really understand the feeling as i also would like my husband to sing for me but all in vain.Technological advancements has really helped to make such things possible though it seems virtually true .

Buble and Seal are excellent, they seem to be a staple of weddings for sure. The technology is there to have a track done by a loved one and honestly get it to a presentable form. That would be a great unique way to make the wedding more personalized. I actually sang to my wife on our wedding day and it was awesome:)
