It’s Sample Sale Season

Fuzzy sweaters and giant inflatable snowmen aren’t the only things that go on sale at the end of the year. Bridal salons also put on year-end sample sales, and it’s a great time to pick up a wedding dress bargain.
Sample dresses are those off-the-rack gowns, usually sizes 10-12, that brides try on to see which one is “the one.” Some samples may show slight signs of having been pulled on and off a few times. Usually, though, all that’s needed is a pressing and at most a dry cleaning to get it aisle-ready. And where else can you find a Reem Acra or Maggie Sottero wedding dress for up to 70% off??
We’ve got some of the hottest sample sales, from San Francisco to San Diego, listed on our Trunk Shows & Special Sales calendar.
(And isn’t dress shopping more fun than finding a Santa Claus tie for Uncle Frank?)

Speaking of sample sales, Glamour Closet has opened a location in Southern California! http://glamourcloset.com/closet/html/events.asp I can hardly wait to visit it. I have a question, for Jolene or anyone who wants to share: if my wedding is the summer of 2010, when should I buy my dress?
