Green Wedding Tips

I love being asked for my opinion—even if the only topic for which my input is being sought is weddings! Recently I was interviewed by journalist Rachel Trachten for The Monthly, which bills itself as “the East Bay’s Premier Magazine of Culture and Commerce.” (Okay, I’m impressed.)
So was Rachel, it seems, at least a little. She’d read my article “It’s A Nice Day for a Green Wedding” in our Articles+Ideas section. Did I have anything else to say on the subject? Indeed I did! Rachel and I blabbed about everything from eco-economics to recycled wedding dresses. To my delight, Rachel included a few of my pearls of wisdom in her fun and informative feature.
Rachel also zeroed in on several of our Certified By The Guide vendors, like floral artist Pat Gibbons and cake designer Edith Meyer. She even got a chance to talk to our pal Margie Richardson at the fabulous U.C. Berkeley Botanical Garden.
For Greenie inspiration, read Rachel Trachen’s article on how to design an earth-friendly wedding.
