I can’t be the only one who thinks the holidays are always better with some good wine. If you agree, grab your honey and make dinner reservations at the Duck Club Restaurant inside the Lafayette Park Hotel and Spa for December 5. Karl Wente of Wente Vineyards will be the special guest that night and he’s bringing the good stuff, including a selection from his super-exclusive, not-sold-to-the-general-public label, “The Nth Degree”. If that isn’t enough, the Wente wines will be paired with Chef Chuck Courtney’s seasonal five-course menu. Yum! You might want to consider the meal a trial run for your East Bay rehearsal dinner (hint, hint).
