scene_altFor brides who prefer to make their own fashion statements, and who like a dash of sass and whimsy with their shopping experience, Nan Winters Cool Stuff is…well, cool. We’ve been “Nan fans” ever since she was matching brides up with vintage finery at Shadows boutique in San Anselmo. Now this fashion maven has opened her own dream shop, and her enthusiastic personal service (and prices that don’t trigger sticker-shock!) is catching on fast. Besides dresses, there is original designer jewelry, lingerie and other treasures to try. Next time you’re on your way to Wine Country, take a little detour. You’ll find Nan Winters in a Victorian-style arcade behind the historic Mystic Theater. And tell her we said hello!

Besides the bridal gowns and accessories at Nan Winters mentioned in this guide, the shop carries great formal gowns and special occasion dresses suitable for bridesmaids, mother of the bride or groom, and other special times - even proms, etc.  Best of all, she has things that you won’t see all over the place. Nan has a great eye for quality at a reasonable price.  I go there every time I am in the area.

I am so happy that Nan has done all the work for me.  Instead of being overwhelmed with hundreds of choices that are not for me, I can go to Nan Winters every time and find beautiful selections in an equally lovely environment.
