I love boot camp workouts. You’re guided by a personal trainer who will push you to work harder for the results you want, you’re in a group of people with similar fitness goals, and many boot camps also include great nutrition advice. Having gone through a few boot camp sessions of my own, I can say with confidence that this kind of workout will definitely give you the energy and stamina you need to make it to the altar. I’m also seeing some great boot camps that are designed just for brides, with workouts to make you look fantastic in that strapless wedding gown you’ve had your eye on.
Added Incentive: Extreme Bridal Bootcamp in Northridge has teamed up with Certified By The Guide cakemaker A Sweet Design for “The Ultimate Weight Loss Challenge”. You can get in shape and win a dream wedding cake for your wedding, and bridesmaids can win a bridal shower cake for their bride-to-be—what a “sweet” idea!

For some years now, the vast majority of wedding gowns have been strapless. That means lots and lots of bare arms and shoulders. If you love the fashion but are a little nervous about the state of your arms and shoulders, now’s the time to get busy. If you have an exercise ball and a pair of hand weights, you’re all set. Failing that, a bench, or even a padded footstool and a couple of one-pound tins of tomatoes might even do the trick!

I love strapless wedding gowns, and yes, every bride-to-be is nervous about the state of the arms and shoulders. Bridal boot camp sounds great.
BTW, Lisa, I tried your link but it doesn’t work, the page has expired and is no longer available.

Did anyone see this article about Hong Kong brides taking boxing lessons to prepare for their wedding?
If you can get over the fact that you’re learning how to punch just before your wedding, it could be a really effective way to get your arms toned!
