I occasionally get to work at actual weddings with some of our fantastic Certified By The Guide event professionals, like floral designer Nancy Liu Chin.
To get you in the wedding mood, here’s a little inspiration from her own blog, Brown Bag:
This inspiring wedding has just a dash of Parisian influence. Enjoy this very colorful wedding that was photographed by Kevin Chin at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco.
The wedding team was wonderfully put together by the extraordinarily talented wedding coordinator, Jubilee Lau of Jubilee Lau Events. The lighting effects were customized to the client’s style by John Woods at Enhanced Lighting, who continues to amaze me with his ability to go the extra mile. Music was provided by the fabulous Carl Mindling of Reach Carl. Linens and Tabletop decor were provided by Classic Party Rentals, including the wonderful patterned dinner plates and the Black Chameleon chair with a rhinestone bucket. The Custom Thai silk runner was by yours truly. Cake and catering were provided by the Four Seasons Hotel. Furniture and props were courtesy of Blueprint. Last—and certainly the hit of the party—was the fantastic Candy Bar designed by Laura Isom for Nancy Liu Chin Designs!

This wedding was so much fun to work on. Not only is Nancy an amazing floral designer but she is a great boss. Her energy and spirt kept me going all day. I am already saving my money so I can hire her when it comes time for my own wedding. After a 6 hour day of dropping the floral arrangements, setting up candles for the bar area, creating the aisle, putting together the candy buffet, and moving furniture around it was so great to see such a beautiful event design come together. Jubilee Lau, Nancy Liu Chin and Kevin Chin are truly a dream team!
