Alexandra Bridal to the Rescue!

My colleague Denise Auerbach dished with me about the successful wedding of a friend of hers—we’ll call her Debi—at the stunning Viansa Winery. “It was the second place I visited when I was planning the wedding,” reveals Debi, “and I knew right away it was perfect.”
Getting the perfect wedding dress, however, was not as easy. “I’m one of the brides that didn’t really read dress magazines or websites,” Debi confessed. Therefore, she didn’t learn the importance of purchasing from a reputable bridal salon. As it turns out, Debi had a major dress mishap less than two weeks before her wedding. The salon-that-shall-remain-nameless had called to tell her that they received the dress that she ordered. “However, when I went to pick it up it was the completely wrong dress!” There wasn’t time to order the correct one.
So there Debi was, dress-less, with her wedding just nine days away. Luckily, she was referred to Alexandra Bridal Salon in SF’s Union Square. “They were wonderful!” says Debi. “They helped me find the most beautiful, perfect wedding dress right off the rack.” And it was a deal, too—a $4000 dress by Melissa Sweet for just $1800! Debi rushed the gown to her tailor in Sebastopol, and picked it up on her way to the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn where she and her bridal party spent the wedding weekend.
From her ravishing wedding photos at Viansa Winery, it’s impossible to detect any trace of the frantic moments that preceded this dreamy wedding. Don’t you just love a happy ending?
P.S. The stunning deep scarlet bouquet is by Fleurs de France!

Another reason I love Alexandra Bridal Salon is their selection of bridesmaids dresses. I went there to get fitted for a dress for one of my friends weddings. The staff is excellent! The dress I was purchasing was a Melissa Sweet dress (in case you didn’t know, she designs beautiful bridesmaids dresses, http://www.priscillaofboston.com/dress_return.jsp?gid=840). They helped me with my measurements and I was able to order the dress right there on the spot. I was so happy they were able to help Debi. I think it turned out for the best because she looked amazing!
