A New Kind of Wedding Invitation

A while ago, I posted about one man’s very creative marriage proposal to his love. Jeffrey Paul created a short proposal film and played it at an Oakland theater with all of their family and friends present (not to mention a TLC camera crew!). Intent on topping even himself, this animation teacher at the Art Institute of San Francisco had his class work on his wedding invitation, too! The result is another quirky/cool animated video. They actually sent out the DVDs as the invite:
In addition to holding the title of Most Adorable Couple in the World, Natasha and Jeff proved they have great taste in wedding locales: they were married at lush and lovely Wildwood Acres in Lafayette.
For those of you preferring to stick to the tried-and-true snail mail kind of invite, we know some awesome invitation experts in both Northern and Southern California who can definitely get you started.

By far the best invitation I’ve ever seen!!!
Do you know where I can have that made?
Please please let me know,
I’m reeeeaaaally desperate ...
I am getting married this May and I would ABSOLUTELY love to use this as my invitation. I dont really want to go the usual way of sending out stationary (as its very expensive and it is just the normal thing to do!)
would you be able to send me info on where I could get this done?
I would really appreciate it.
Wow! What a great way to invite. I am delighted to watch this video. I am bookmarking your article.
Thanks for sharing.

Thank You
Rensia
This invitation was created by a professor at the Art Institute in San Francisco. If you’re looking for someone to do something similar, maybe contact your nearest Art Institute and see if any graphics student (or teacher) would be willing to design something for you for a fee. If you time it right, maybe your invitation could become a class project. Here’s the Art Institute’s website: http://www.artinstitute.edu/
Good luck!

I love the video proposal & invitation, especially if you combine the video with a digital invitation. I wonder if you could embed the video right into an email?
