Engagement Rings for Men

When a man decides to commit, he drops a healthy portion of his nest egg on a sparkly engagement ring. But what does he get in return, besides that meaningful “yes” from the love of his life? Nada. Call me crazy, but has anyone else noticed that men get the raw end of the deal here? Not to mention the fact that it seems a little hypocritical that a woman gets “marked” as betrothed while the man’s fingers get to stay bare until the wedding day!

A Certified Star

Wedding photographer Lauren Cohn-Frankel has had quite a summer. In addition to being officially Certified By The Guide, she’s recently been nominated for SF Chronicle’s Best of the Bay and had her gorgeous photos featured on East Bay Express’ Wedding Wednesdays, KRON 4’s gay marriage special, HBO Family, and Today’s Bride. Busy girl!

This? It’s From Italy

Wouldn’t it be nice if, just once, when someone complimented your new dress you didn’t have to say “Oh, this? It’s from Target.” Instead, wouldn’t it be awesome if you could say, “This? It’s from Italy.”? It just sounds so much more chic and worldly to name-drop a European country instead of the corner retail clothing chain.
