Lisa came to us from the trenches of the local PTA, where she learned how to run a meeting, negotiate a conflict, plan a fundraiser, and control a room of third graders—all while holding a crying baby and hopping on one foot. Well, the hopping part may be a stretch, but we wouldn’t put it past this strong and determined stay-at-home-mom-turned-career-woman. Lisa’s joined our sales team and can now be seen charming clients, updating web content, and checking in on the lives of her fellow coworkers.

Extracurricular activities: Entertaining and Tennis…but I promise, not at the same time.
Favorite way to wind down after a hard day: Racer Five and a good football game. Wow, aren’t I a classy lady!
What people most underestimate about me: My intuition…sometimes I even underestimate it myself.
Marriage advice from the trenches: You have to know and love yourself before you can give freely to a spouse. Don’t underestimate the importance of taking care of yourself, and you’ll be able to love out of the overflow that comes from within.
What people would never suspect about me: I am a born-and-raised California girl, but my heart has always had a li’l twang. Something about a good country song just speaks to my Southern alter ego.
Celebrity I would most like to have a one-on-one date with: Darius Rucker. For two reasons: first, his voice just makes me melt. Second, I’m hoping he can help me work through the split-personality crisis I described above. Darius went from Hootie and The Blowfish to country music stardom—I think we have a connection.
Staff person I turn to most often for help: I’m very grateful that I can turn to any one of my co-workers at any time for advice, whether it be work related, a fashion consult or just a dose of sanity. These women are always there to lend an ear and wise counsel. What gems!
Most unrealistic life goal: Make millions of dollars playing tennis on Center Court Wimbledon. Yes, I would like to be Maria Sharapova.
Source of inspiration: My daughters inspire me daily. The oldest reminds me to set high goals and standards and then attack them with tenacity and hard work. The youngest reminds me to smile and love myself. They’re a great combination and I’m one lucky mom!
Favorite quote: I love quotes and there are too many to choose from! Here’s one I heard recently that spoke to me: “The pain of hard work isn’t nearly as bad as the pain of regret.”
What I like most about my job: Hands down, the other women in this company. They epitomize what women should be: smart, confident, beautiful, supportive, authentic and just downright FUN!
