Domestic Status: Newlywed in November 2009! Finally married my high school sweetheart.
Best Advice To Brides: As a bride who just planned her own wedding, I’m going to give a piece of practical planning advice: Seriously, put a little number on the back of your RSVP cards that corresponds to your own numbered guest list. You would not believe how many people mailed their RSVP cards back to me with NO NAMES!!!
Walked Down the Aisle To: “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.” I’m still a total ballerina at heart.
Extracurricular Activities: I love dancing, shopping, working out, nights on the town, taking trips, and spending time with my loved ones.
Favorite Wedding Detail: All my DIY projects… the menu cards, place cards, table numbers, cake topper… really gave a touch of personal style to our wedding. Oh, and my red bridal high heels.
Favorite Way to Wind Down After a Hard Day: It really depends on the day… Could be a good workout at the gym, having a cozy night at home with the hubby, or having a crazy night out with friends to forget all my troubles!
Guilty Pleasures: Trashy talk shows and reality TV, cocktails, shopping, and decadent desserts…though I hardly feel guilty.
Childhood Career Choice: (How Did That Work Out?): I wanted to be a movie star and professional dancer! The movie star part? Not so much. But I did dance professionally on several teams while living in San Diego, and now I’m a Raiderette!
What People Would Never Suspect About Me: I’m first generation American — half Puerto Rican and half German. People can never put their finger on my ethnicity.
