When we first met Angela, we found ourselves preening and posturing much like we would on a first date. The interview was on the heels of hiring her fab friend Jenna, and we wondered, would lightning really strike twice? Luckily, Ange’s confidence and grace put us at ease, and we had the “commitment talk” without embarrassing ourselves too much. Today it feels as if she’s been a part of our quirky family for years. When she’s not dazzling us with her megawatt smile and wit, she’s doing a little matchmaking of her own, scouting out the best venues for our brides.

Domestic status: Married with bun in the oven.
Best advice to brides: If you don’t have a receiving line in order to greet your guests, split up and have the groom go one way and the bride go the other. You’re less likely to miss a group of guests who won’t have a chance to visit with one of you.
Walked down the aisle to: “Pachelbel’s Canon in D,” a classic!
Extracurricular activities: Wine tasting would be first and foremost, then cooking and cleaning. Cooking allows me to show my love and cleaning house clears my head. Wine helps me sit back and relax long enough to see what I’ve accomplished with all that cooking and cleaning.
Favorite wedding detail: Tables named after the “Princess Cruiseline” ships; my hubby and I met on a cruise ship en route to Alaska.
Favorite way to wind down after a hard day: Dark chocolate and red wine. Good night!
Guilty pleasure: Taking the quizzes and reading the horoscopes from magazines and social media networks. Fashion police pages are pretty entertaining too!
Celebrity I would most like to have a one-on-one date with: Brad Paisley, the country singer who literally married the bride from Father Of The Bride and sings about the merriment of married life in his songs.
Childhood career choice: To be Regis Philbin’s sidekick. It didn’t work out too well though…I waited in vain for the daily announcement, “Live, with Regis and Angela!”
What people most underestimate about me: My love of completing tasks. I wrote all 200+ thank-you cards to our wedding guests on the flight to our honeymoon! Yeah…it’s that bad.
Theme song: “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” by Shania Twain.
Fictional character I most identify with: Monica from Friends. She’s the woman making checklists within her checklists, yet still snagged a wonderfully relaxed hub who keeps her somewhat sane.
New Year’s resolution: To DIY (or should I say do it myself) when my better half is willing to do many of the tasks for me. It’s important to always balance the give and take.
